Process for the isomerization of olefins

Abstract: A process for the skeletal isomerization of n-olefins containing at most 20 carbon atoms, comprising bringing a charge containing olefins into contact with a catalyst based on alumina which is impregnated with a clearly determined amount of TuO.sub.2, and subjected to a s team treatment. The process is carried into effect in the presence of steam.
