Abstract: Polymers containing a high percentage of vinyl alcohol units may be melt-blended with copolymers of alkyl(meth)acrylates and unsaturated organic acids. Flexible films are formed when one of the methacrylic monomers is a monoterminally (meth)acrylated oligomer or polymer of ethylene glycol or propylene glycol.
